In this issue, we will take a deeper look at orgasm.
However, please understand that orgasm varies greatly from person to person, and it is impossible to share or experience the sensations of others, so this commentary is only a summary based on experiences, physical mechanisms, and statistics.
What is orgasm?
Orgasm (sexual climax) is the state of climax of sexual arousal. Physiologically, it is a phenomenon in which the muscles in the pelvic area rhythmically contract and the entire body relaxes with a strong sense of pleasure. Below is a more detailed definition of orgasm and its mechanism.
Definition of orgasm
-
- Physical Characteristics:. Muscles around the pelvic area contract rhythmically and the heart rate and respiratory rate increase. It is also accompanied by physical reactions such as increased blood pressure and diffusion of the pupils.
- Psychological characteristics:. A state of sudden feeling of liberation or euphoria. The sensation is sometimes described as "a pleasant feeling like an electric current" or "going blank.
- Etymology: Etymology Derived from the ancient Greek word "ὀργασμός" (maturity, estrus), it is also called "sexual climax" in Japanese.
Mechanism of orgasm
- Excitement by stimulation:. Stimulation of the genitals and sexual organs is transmitted to the brain through nerves.
- Brain Commands:. The brain issues a command to maximize pleasure, causing a pleasant sensation that spreads throughout the body.
- Muscle contraction:. The pelvic floor muscles and muscles around the genitals contract rhythmically, amplifying pleasure.
Differences between male and female orgasms
| feature | masculine gender | female |
|---|---|---|
| physical reaction | Often accompanied by ejaculation | Individual differences in squirting, vaginal contractions, etc. |
| Duration | Short duration (a few seconds to 10 seconds) | Long duration (seconds to minutes) |
| continuity | Often finished in one go. | Continuous orgasms (multiple orgasms) are possible |
| Spread of pleasure | Local (genital centered) | Systemic (extends from pelvis to entire body) |
Orgasm by type (for women)
- Sotai iki (cli iki):. Clitoral orgasm is a localized pleasure from stimulation of the clitoris. It is easy to achieve and is estimated to be experienced by approximately 90% of women.
- Nakayuki:. G-spot orgasm is a deeply pleasurable sensation caused by stimulation of the G-spot. It requires development and is estimated to be experienced by about 20% of women.
- In the back:. A portio orgasm is the ultimate pleasure that can be achieved through stimulation of the portio. It is possible to have continuous orgasms and is said to be highly sustainable, and when experienced, it is easy to become sexually dependent, but it is estimated that only a minority of women are able to achieve it.
- Brain teaser:. Mental orgasm is a mental climax that can be achieved without direct physical stimulation, and is considered an advanced orgasm that can be pleasurable through imagination or voice.
Clitoral penetration is the most common and achievable for many women, while mid and deep penetration are more difficult and vary from person to person. Brain hard-on is more likely to be achieved under certain conditions, but the number of people who have experienced it is limited. It is advisable to understand these differences and explore methods that suit you and your partner.
Orgasm by type (for men)
- Pennisuiki:. Penile orgasm is a common orgasm that stimulates the penis and is accompanied by ejaculation.
- Dry orgasm:. It is a general term for climax obtained without ejaculation. It can be induced by prostate stimulation. It refers to all orgasms that do not involve ejaculation. When a man ejaculates many times and does not ejaculate due to insufficient sperm, it is not called a dry orgasm but an "empty orgasm. However, the above is a slang term, and the medical term "dry orgasm" refers to a state in which no semen is produced after ejaculation due to azoospermia or retrograde ejaculation, so it is used in the opposite way.
- Prostate Cum:. Prostate orgasm is a deeply pleasurable sensation caused by stimulation of the prostate gland. It is presumed to be similar to the female Nakayuki. It needs to be developed in the same way as female Nakayuki and Deep Iguana.
Comparison of female and male orgasms
Characteristics and similarities of clitoral, G-spot, portio, penile, prostate, and other types of eroticism
Although there are clear differences in stimulation sites and sensations between female and male orgasms, there are also similarities in neurotransmission mechanisms and diversity.
In terms of orgasm for the purpose of fertilization in sexual intercourse, since the woman needs to wait for the man to ejaculate, it is thought that the orgasmic state can continue until the man ejaculates even after reaching orgasm, and that the contractile movements and tightening of the vagina also stimulate the man to ejaculate.
Below we describe the characteristics and comparisons of each type.
*I assume that there are significant individual differences.
Female orgasm types and characteristics
1. clitoris (external sexual intercourse)
-
Stimulation siteClitoris (external)
-
pleasant feeling: Sharp stimulation, like a jolt of electricity. Immediate but short-lasting.
-
feature: 8,000 to 10,000 nerves are concentrated. Experienced by more than 90% of women.
G-spot (G-spot) stimulation (Nakayuki)
-
Stimulation siteAnterior wall of the vagina (3-5 cm from the vulva)
-
pleasant feeling: Deep pleasant sensation via pelvic nerves. With warmth and general weakness.
-
feature: Rough to the touch. Not present in all women.
Recent research suggests that the G-spot is not an independent organ, but is likely closely related to the internal structure of the clitoris and the Skene's gland (the female prostate).
3. portioi (backward thrusting)
-
Stimulation siteAround the cervix (about 7 to 10 cm from the vulva)
-
pleasant feeling: Deep satisfaction that resonates throughout the body. Continuous orgasm possible.
-
feature: Extensive stimulation via the spinal nerves. Tokoroten phenomenon" similar to ejaculation is also reported.
4. vaginal intercourse
-
Stimulation site: Entire vagina

pleasant feelingThe deep pleasure that pushes up from the depths of the body.
-
feature: Likely to occur with combined stimulation of the G-spot and the portio.
Male orgasm types and characteristics

-
feature: Involves the prostate small chamber, sometimes called the "male uterus" or "male G-spot".
3. female cookie
-
Stimulation siteProstate : Prostate
-
pleasant feeling: Tends to be accompanied by continuous female-like orgasms, panting and body spasms.
-
feature: This term was popularized in BL culture. Physiologically, it is almost identical to prostate stimulation, but it is a combination of "brain stimulation" with the awareness of oneself as a woman.
